Tuesday, September 9, 2008 Mindanao, island of the Philippines, the second largest, after Luzon and southernmost of the country's major islands. The island is 500 km (300 mi) long and very irregular in shape. The Zamboanga Peninsula in the west is nearly divided from the main part of the island by Iligan Bay on the north and Illana Bay on the south. The coastline is marked with many bays and headlands, which afford shelter to ships during storms. The island is mountainous, and the mountains are covered with forests of teak, ironwood, cypress, ebony. The loftiest summit is the volcano Mount Apo, 2,954 m (9,692 ft) above sea level. The principal rivers are the Mindanao and the Agusan. The soil is exceedingly fertile and produces corn, rice, coconuts, bananas, pineapples, and abaca, or Manila hemp. Gold, copper, iron, and coal are the chief mineral resources. Stock farming is the most important economic activity of Mindanao. The chief cities on the island are Zambuanga, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro Population (1990) 14,536,000.

I'm a self-taught photographer! I LOVE LOVE LOVE photography. Over the last few years, photography has become my passion. There is something about photography that relaxes and excites me. There is a certain thrill that I get when taking pictures that cannot be expressed with words. I rarely leave my house without my camera attached to my side! I'm a wife, a mother of one, who continues to be my favorite subject to photograph! I'd have to say he is definitely a good little model, who puts up with a camera in his face most of the time! But he'll love to have the portraits to look back at one day, and hopefully not think I'm completely nuts for the millions of pictures i've taken over the years!
I'm not really that friendly but if for some reason you think I'm interesting, feel free to add and talk to me. I love talking to interesting people and having fun conversations.
But If you can't handle me at my worse. Then you don't deserve me at my best.
